| Thanks to all of you who prayed. I am sure that I aced the quiz. I am not sure that I got 100%, but I know I got an A and I only needed an 80% to pass the class. I hate to just keep on posting prayer request, but that is what I really need right now. My sister and I are doing something special for my Mom and Dad this weekend since they are going to be out of town. It is a surprise for their anniversary in Dec. If you could just pray that my sister does not get assigned overtime and that the forecast is good. We really need it to be sunny in the morning to afternoon, but I don't want to be too specific. Okay.....well, I have put in a total of ten miles this week already. I am shooting for 28-30 miles for the week. I am sure that I can do it, but I have never done that many miles in one week. I figure if I average 20 miles a week for an entire year I will have run 1,240 miles in a year. I could just run to visit my family. NOT!! That is all for now! | | |
| Hey all,
I took a courtroom demeanor class today at the crime lab. I was 5 hours long with 3-4 five to ten minute breaks. I have a quiz tomorrow, so I would appreciate some prayers. Other than that I have been busy babysitting, visiting with company, and working on and at my Aunt's estate sale. The house is all cleaned out now except for some personal items that could not be sold at the sale. Please pray for the sale of the house, business, and building. It needs to be soon and for the amount that they want to get for it. That is all for now, I have a quiz to study for and I need to run and do my devotions yet! | | |
| It was a beautiful weekend and the weather has just continued on into the week. I can't believe that it is 92 degrees out in October. I was able to enjoy the nice temperature on Sat when I went on a run that lasted 1 hour and 24 minutes. I ended up running from my house to Walmart on the West end and back to my house. I estimated it to be about 9.5 miles. That is the furthest I have ever run all at one time. I was so excited. I felt great the entire time too!! I just kept telling my Dad (who was riding his bike next to me) that "I still feel great!" Well, there is nothing else to talk about. I think I will go run again and enjoy the beautiful weather. | | |
| I never know what to say on this thing. I feel like I am just talking about myself, which is the point. I know you all are sitting on the edges of your seat just waiting to find out what I have been up to, but I hate talking about myself. I am sure that you all know everything that you need to know.........well most of you anyway.
I ran a 10K last Sat. and I rode a metric century on my bike this morning. I got third in my age class for the running thing. I even got a little trophy. It took my friend and I almost 5 hours to complete the ride. We had a head wind almost the entire way and we ran across a couple of kitties that were abandoned. We rescued them and stopped for various other reasons along the way. It was actually good whether to ride. Not too sunny, cold, or rainy. It only rained for a couple miles. Well, I am beat. I think I am going to get a shower and go to bed.
Oh, and if you all could pray that I would have a better attitude with this guy at work, that would be great. I can't stand him and I thing that he is starting to notice that in my attitude towards him. I know I am not showing a Christ like attitude, and that is BAD!! Thanks | | |
